By the time of her death at the age of 98 Georgia O'Keeffe had long been acclaimed as one of the great women painters of the 20th century. She produced various types of picture, including cityscapes and views of the desert, but she is probably best known for her highly original flower paintings. In these she presented the natural forms magnified in size and in intimate close-up, creating voluptuous and almost abstract images. They make beautiful greeting cards for any occasion.
